Shaw Box Employees Federal Credit Union was organized on March 15, 1952 to benefit employees of Shaw Box Crane and Hoist. They wanted to be able to offer low rate loans and high dividend savings to the factory and office people who worked for the company.
In 1928 Alfred Boxs' hoist company from Philadelphia, PA (1878) and Alton Shaw's crane company (1888) merged and created a leading company in overhead materials.
Shaw Box Crane and Hoist is now Lift-Tech International. They continue to produce the same products and offer our credit union services to their employees. Over the years we have grown into a full service, community credit union that meets all our members financial needs.
